I AM...

This is a project I did for Mrs. Garza's forth grade class at Farrer Elementary. This project stemmed from my final BFA project I did at BYU; I have been exploring the idea of how to help others recognize their worth, potential and uniqueness. I was able to get funding and the project really took off from there. Each child I photographed picked a word that discribed them and then wrote about their word. Their teacher really challenged them and helped them to disect and dig deep to find what their word meant to them. The papers were laminated and displayed for others to read. We had a opening night for parents and friends to come and participate. It was a big success. When it was over the kids got to take their pictures home with them. A big thank you Mrs. Graza and Kristin Murdock!
